EVENTS TERMS & CONDITIONS :

 

 

1.  INFORMATION

The Client shall provide, on request by Algarve Fine Food, all such information which is available in relation to the event as may be necessary to enable Algarve Fine Food to make a fully informed assessment of its obligations to provide the services.

 

2. NUMBERS ATTENDING

(i)There are no minimum numbers that we cater for.

(ii) A quotation is prepared based on the number of people anticipated to attend. Final numbers must be confirmed 6 weeks before the event and the final price based on these numbers.

(iii) Final numbers must be submitted in writing 6 weeks prior to the event and are non-changeable 4 weeks prior to the event. If you’re numbers decrease, Algarve Fine Food holds the right to charge you the final numbers confirmed. You can always add people to the booking up until the day before.

 

3.  AMENDMENTS

(i) The Client agrees that Algarve Fine Food may accept any verbal amendments to the arrangements given during the course of the function or its preparation, by the Client or nominee, and the Client agrees to pay for any additional service so provided.

(ii) Algarve Fine Food reserves the right to pass on to the Client any additional costs incurred by it for goods and services requested during the course of the Event or caused by the Client not adhering to the agreed times for services.

 

4.  CONFIRMATION, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

(i) Accounts for the event may be settled by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Credit card commissions and costs will incur and any expenses by bank transfers should be paid by the client.

(ii) All payments are non – transferable.

(iii) All prices in the quotation Exclude the Value Added Tax (IVA) at the prevailing rate at the time of booking. Algarve Fine Food reserves the right to alter prices to take into account of any variation in the rate of VAT/IVA applicable at the date of the event itself.

(iv) First deposit should be paid after the food tasting, in the case there is no food tasting, should be paid as soon as confirmed so that Algarve Fine Food can block the date.

(v) Deposits - the 1st deposit will secure the date. A payment plan will be personalized to your event and clearly indicated in the last page of your proposal. Deposits are non-refundable

(vi) By transferring the initial deposit, you are agreeing to these T&C

 

5.  CANCELLATION BY ALGARVE FINE FOOD

Algarve Fine Food may cancel the booking under the following circumstances:

(i) Forthwith and without any liability on its part in the event of any damage to the venue by fire, flood, storm, explosion or other cause beyond the control of Algarve Fine Food.

(ii) If the event may prejudice the reputation or cause damage to Algarve Fine Food

 

6. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

All bookings are non-transferable unless agreed by Algarve Fine Food.  Monies paid cannot be transferred to another date or Event unless agreed otherwise.

In case of postponement of the event due to unique circumstances such as health issues, Algarve Fine Food will transfer all deposits paid to the new date.

 

 

7.   LIABILITY

(i) Algarve Fine Food will not be liable for the loss of damage to the property of the clients or guests. However, nothing in this agreement shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud of fraudulent misrepresentation

(ii)The client and their guests must not do anything of omit to do anything that could cause the insurance policy of  Algarve Fine Food or the suppliers to be rendered void of voidable or do or omit anything which may incur additional insurance premiums

 

8.  GENERAL

(i) Algarve Fine Food will take all reasonable steps to fulfil the Client’s booking to the best of its ability and in accordance with the details provided.  It reserves the right to provide alternative services of at least an equivalent standard at no additional cost to the Client and the Client shall have no claim in respect of such alternative service.

 (ii) No variation of these conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed on behalf of  Algarve Fine Food and the Client.

(iii) Any complaint must be made in writing to Algarve Fine Food within 7 days of the event date, and must be made by a contractual party to this Agreement to be recognised by Algarve Fine Food.

Algarve Fine Food will not give consideration to such complaints unless received in such a manner and within such time limits and shall thereafter be entitled to claim the full sum due from the client in respect of the event.
